What is Signal Flare?
Signal Flare is a special service that puts context into your analytics. You record your marketing activities and we place your notes on your charts.
Seeing your marketing log alongside your marketing results makes it easy to understand your analytics. You can now attribute what is working and not working in your marketing budget.
Why did you build Signal Flare?
We are solving a chronic problem we feel when we use our analytics dashboards. There's real anxiety around not understanding the cause of the spikes and dips in the charts.
Having faced this problem over and over again put us on a path to our moment of inspiration. As if hit by lightning, we suddenly acquired a vision of the future and how to make the pain go away.
It all starts with the simple observation that insight comes when you mix data with context.
How does it work?
Signal Flare is primarily a Chrome Extension with a cloud storage backend. We store your annotations in the cloud and inject them back into your analytics where ever and whenever you need them.
Storing your notes outside of your analytics makes it possible to see those notes in many different tools. You don't need to change anything you do today to take advantage of Signal Flare.
What happens to my analytics data?
Nothing. We don't download or collect any of your analytics data. We respect your privacy and strive to avoid situations that could result in copying, storing, or tramsitting your data.
